Random vomiting in the morning?

Two weeks back I was on a cruise boat going around Italy, one morning I stepped out of the shower and felt nauseated I ended up puking in about 20 minutes after that. ( I never get sea sick ) . The puke was yellow with some fungi looking stuff in it ( I drank a lot of orange juice ) , well this morning I woke up ( two weeks later ) early around 4 am and decided to do 50 push ups since I missed out on my work out by sleeping through it the night before. After I did my push ups I felt nauseated again so I went to the bathroom and ended up puking again. This time is white not a lot but with the same fungi looking stuff in it. One doctor strongly thought it was an infection, but the ER "knew" it was only mono. I had mono before in 6th grade and had no idea I could get it twice but thats what they told me. what could be causing this?
